Is January Cove a real place?
January Cove isn’t a place you’ll find on any map and exists only in the hearts and minds of myself and the thousands of readers who have fallen in love with it. Located on the Georgia coast, the small beach town is home to a quirky and lovable cast of characters, but the central focus of the series (and the first 5 books) is the Parker family. This is a sweet beach romance series, so it's great for readers who love clean & wholesome romance! I work really hard to create believable, deep characters and storylines that give my readers all sorts of emotions.
Why do you write books that are mainly located in Georgia?
Having grown up here and lived here all of my 40+ years, Georgia is a place that lends itself well to a lot of amazing stories. The richness of the landscape from the mountains to the ocean gives me ample opportunity to write about various locations, and it also allows me to draw on my immense knowledge about the people and customs here.
What do fans love about the January Cove series?
When I started this series, I was amazed at how excited my readers were about the stories and the characters. I loved them myself, of course, but it always lights up an author’s heart to hear readers say they’ve fallen in love too.
I think it’s mostly the mental getaway that readers experience when going to January Cove in their minds. We all live in a stressed out world, so being able to take a few hours and escape to a place that exists only in your mind and spend time with characters who make you feel something is a blessing. I know that readers have asked me to continue adding stories to the series, and I plan to do that for a long time to come!
Who are your influences as an author?
I have a lot of influences, but certainly people like Debbie Macomber, Susan Mallery and Robyn Carr come to mind because they also write family series romance and small town romance. I love writing about a beach town, much like the Cedar Cove series of Debbie Macomber but set on the opposite coast. I love happy endings, so these authors epitomize that for me.

I thought this was an ok read, but there were some things about the story that I didn't think made sense. Why, for instance, the heroine thought she couldn't handle being a single mother when she'd been raised by one who seemed to have done a good job, plus three of her brothers were involved with women who were single moms. I also didn't get why, if she had her own design firm, she was bartending for a while. When she finally calls the firm to see about doing some jobs for them, she's shocked that her soon-to-be ex-husband has taken over and installed his lover. First of all, who did she think had been running it all this time, why wasn't it her, how was the corporation set up that he could just oust her like that, and why would you put a secretary in a designers job and expect it to succeed. There were just a lot of details that didn't add up to me, that seemed to be inserted into the story to contrive drama. I thought the premise of the guy who loved her all along was sweet, but the details didn't jive.Product details

This was an excellent addition to the January Cove series.
I enjoyed reading the whole series.
I would recommend all of these books to all adult readers.

I thought it was good no sex no smut just plan ol good.
These two lost each outner she went one way he stayed in home in the cove
She returns with a bun in the oven a lot of troubles flowing her but she finds Clay again gets to know as the man he is and falls in love.
Very good story line very sweet romance.
ADDISON Parker,had four brothers and five counting Clay who was a close friend to her family. Allison leaves January Cove to start a life of her own. Meets and marries Jim, it wasn't long that she found out he wasn't meant for her. She returns to January Cove, in the midst of a divorce and pregnancy. Then she discovered Clay was still there and doing his best to show her he wasn't her 'brother' he looks out for her and proves he can be the Man of her Dreams.
This is a real feel good book in spite of the difficulty of Addy's divorce from Jim. It is sweet that her mom also got some unexpected romance in her life, too. It was a little difficult keeping all four of the brothers straight, but they are all enjoyable. Ms. Hanna writes a beautiful story and gives it flavor by adding the feel of the beach and the sand. This is truly a heartwarming story!
Quit reading. Addy bounces between acting like an adult and a baby/kid sister. A lot of drama. She left her cheating husband, who happens to be a shark of an attorney so she's SOL regarding her business and finances. She took a job as a bartender, hooked up with some guy for a few weeks and is now, of course, pregnant and the hook-up isn't interested in her or the baby.
No interest in this book. I may be interested in other works by this author. Remember this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on the author.
